Helping Hands Scholarship
Overview: The Helping Hands Scholarship is a partial scholarship to help a nonprofit organization participate in either the Service Enterprise Initiative or Organizational Assessment programs.
Award: Covers one-half of the cost of the above-mentioned programs
Geographic Scope: Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surry, or Yadkin Counties, North Carolina
Eligible Programs:
Eligibility
- Must be classified as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) by the IRS
- Located in or serving Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surry, or Yadkin Counties
- Preference given to organizations that have a relationship with HandsOn NWNC
- Previous recipients cannot reapply
Scholarship Payment
- Scholarships cover one-half (50%) of the cost of the programs
- Scholarship recipient will only be responsible for the remaining balance due
- First-come, first-served basis
