Heloise Werthan Kuhn Scholarship Fund Grant

The Heloise Werthan Kuhn Scholarship Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, supports pregnant or parenting teens in Tennessee. With a mission to foster self-esteem through education and technical training, the fund aims to empower these individuals to enhance their job skills and break the cycle of poverty associated with teen pregnancy. Established by Heloise Werthan Kuhn, the scholarship reflects her commitment to community welfare and education.

As a mother, grandmother and community volunteer in Nashville, Heloise Werthan Kuhn is an ardent supporter of the Crittenton mission of preventing both first and repeat teen pregnancies. She established this scholarship to help teen parents develop self-esteem through education or technical training in order to qualify for better jobs.
