Healthy Communities Grant

Program Description: The Healthy Communities Grant provides funding to support local projects and programs that bring about behavioral changes needed to improve, preserve and protect the natural beauty of Louisiana. The grant is a reimbursement-based program that supports projects and programs aligned with KLB's mission.

  • Grantees must participate in America Recycles Day (November 15) or Great American Cleanup (March-May annually)

  • Grantees encouraged to attend KLB State Conference

  • Background: Since 2004, Keep Louisiana Beautiful has awarded over $3 million in grants to local communities. In 2015, the program funded $200,000 across 32 organizations. In 2018, $92,000 was provided for projects. In 2019-2020, 40 grants totaling $125,000 were awarded.
