  • Entrepreneurial Venture Award: $200,000 per winner

  • Institutional Venture Award: $150,000 per winner

  • Finalist Award: $20,000 per finalist
  • Specific Health Challenge Areas:

  • Increasing access to preventive care

  • Improving social/emotional wellness and mental health
  • Target Population: Primarily North Texas students and underserved populations, including:

  • Low-income students

  • Students facing mental health challenges

  • At-risk adolescents

  • Minority and economically disadvantaged children

  • Families living in rural, impoverished and underserved areas
  • Eligibility: Both entrepreneurs/startups and established health systems/institutional innovators

    Additional Support: Entrepreneurial Venture Award winners receive consultative support from the BCBS C1 Innovation Lab to broaden impact of innovative products and services
