Harvard University- Marshall Scholarship Grant

The Marshall Scholarship offers talented Americans the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, fostering future leaders through a deep engagement with British society. Each year, up to fifty scholars are awarded funding for one to two years, covering tuition and living expenses. The program aims to enhance academic achievement while promoting cultural exchange and understanding between the USA and the UK, enriching the scholars' personal and professional lives.

Description
Marshall Scholarships are for 1 or (most commonly) 2 years of postgraduate study at any university in the UK. The objectives of the Marshall Scholarships are:
To enable intellectually distinguished young Americans, their country’s future leaders, to study in the UK.To help Scholars gain an understanding and appreciation of contemporary Britain.To contribute to the advancement of knowledge in science, technology, the humanities and social sciences and the creative arts at Britain’s centres of academic excellence.To motivate Scholars to act as ambassadors from the USA to the UK and vice versa throughout their lives thus strengthening British-American understanding.To promote the personal and academic fulfilment of each Scholar.
Benefits
Full tuition and a living stipend for 1-3 (by far most commonly 2) years of study at any university in the UK.

Eligibility

EligibilityUS citizenship at the time of application Graduating senior or alumni with an undergraduate degree earned no earlier than the April two years before the year of application (e.g. if applying in fall 2025, must have earned undergraduate degree no earlier than April 2023)

Ineligibility

Persons already studying for or holding a British degree or degree-equivalent qualification are not eligible to apply for a Marshall Scholarship.
