Hal M. Quinn Excellence in Nursing Award
Overview: This award was created to honor Hal M. Quinn for his steadfast commitment to The Research Foundation from 1994 to 2004, serving as chair of the board of directors from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Quinn provided exemplary leadership and wisdom during the process to become an independent, self-perpetuating foundation, which was accomplished on April 1, 2003. Mr. Quinn passed away on May 11, 2013.
Award Amount: $1,500 for continuing education or taxable stipend
Frequency: Presented annually
- Must be a full-time LPN, RN, or BSN nurse
- Must be employed at a health care institution
- May be nominated by a colleague or peer
