Grigg-Lewis Foundation Grant

The Grigg-Lewis Foundation Grant supports projects benefiting residents of Eastern Niagara County and Western New York. The foundation focuses on arts, education, health, and community improvement. Grants of $90,000 or more are reviewed quarterly, while smaller requests are considered at staff discretion. Applicants must demonstrate sustainability and provide a 501(c)(3) letter. The foundation prioritizes collaborations among nonprofits but gives lower priority to scholarships and religious organizations not historically supported by its founder.

NOTE:
All grant requests of $90,000.00 or more will  be reviewed at the third quarter board meeting - July Cycle.Smaller grants will be scheduled at the staff’s discretion.

Eligibility

The Foundation will consider grants for projects or programs that provide a benefit to Eastern Niagara County residents. Provide a copy of the applicant’s 501(c)3 determination letter.Multi-year, challenge, or matching grants will be considered.Applicants should have identified additional funding sources and must demonstrate sustainability.The Foundation values collaborations between nonprofit organizations.

Ineligibility

The Foundation gives lower priority to requests for scholarships and for religious organizations not historically supported by our founder, Henrietta Grigg Lewis.The Foundation is unable to make grants to individuals.
