Greater Oshkosh Capital Catalyst Fund

Purpose: Helps support startup and emerging businesses growth in the greater Oshkosh area.

Award Range: Program awards for any single business enterprise range from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $100,000. Grants up to $10,000 and equity positions may also be viable awards.

Ineligible Sectors

• Hospitality
• Real Estate
• Restaurants
• Retail

Eligible Activities

• Acquisition of land, buildings, and fixed equipment
• Feasibility studies, consulting fees, legal fees associated with project development
• Site preparation and construction or reconstruction of buildings (including leasehold improvements)
• Installation of fixed equipment
• Working capital for inventory and direct labor costs
• Marketing of new products/emergence into new markets
• Other activities that the Revolving Loan Fund Committee may identify during the administration of the program

Financing Guidelines

• Private Funds: This program will match up to one dollar for every dollar of traditional capital investment sources
• Loan Terms: Determined on a case-by-case basis, designed around generating maximum success and outcomes
• Interest Rates: Determined on a case-by-case basis by the RLF Committee, balancing risk and return for the City of Oshkosh, as well as applicable margins to cover associated costs
• Repayment: Deferral of principle payments may be provided, but will be determined on a case-by-case basis
• Collateral: Requirements determined by the RLF Committee on a case-by-case basis
