Grant Cycle I
Overview: Grant Cycle I is the first of three grant cycles offered by the Wayne County Foundation throughout the year to support programs and projects for local nonprofit organizations that enhance the spirit of the community and improve the quality of life across Wayne County.
Eligibility: Local nonprofit organizations serving Wayne County
Geographic Scope: Wayne County, Indiana
Focus Areas: Programs and projects that enhance community spirit and improve quality of life
Recent Funding: In 2022, Grant Cycle I awarded $146,015 to 18 organizations. In 2023, Grant Cycle I and other first quarter opportunities awarded $170,572 to 20 organizations.
Application Process: Applications are reviewed and approved by the Foundation's Board of Directors at their monthly meetings.
Grantmaking Support: The Foundation's grantmaking is made possible by income from unrestricted and endowed field-of-interest funds and individual donors who create funds to support Wayne County.
