Graduate student fellowships: ASM Fellowship in Mammalogy Grant

The ASM Fellowship in Mammalogy, offered by the American Society of Mammalogists, supports graduate students engaged in mammalian research. These fellowships recognize students with a strong record of research productivity and commitment to the society. Eligible applicants must be graduate members of ASM and enrolled in a college or university for the upcoming academic year. As a result, although there is no formal requirement regarding the academic stage of applicants, these fellowships are typically given to students who are nearing the completion of their graduate degrees. However, recipients must be enrolled as a graduate student during the forthcoming fall semester to be eligible for these award.
A single graduate fellowship in mammalogy is provided annually by the Board of Directors of ASM at the recommendation of the Grants-in-Aid Committee. The fellowship is intended to recognize current accomplishments in mammalogy, service to ASM, and the potential for a productive, future role in professional mammalogy.

Eligibility

Applicants may be any graduate student members of ASM enrolled at a college or university for the forthcoming academic year and engaged in research in mammalogy.
