Columbia University scholarship program to enhance the quality of elementary school education within the local community by supporting qualified teachers pursuing graduate degrees.
Geographic Scope: Community District 9 (Harlem area)
Eligibility:
- Elementary school teachers currently teaching within Community District 9, OR
- Individuals interested in teaching elementary school within Community District 9
- Must be admitted to the Master's program of choice
- Must agree to teach within Community District 9 for five years after graduation
