Summary
GoodAI Grants support innovative research in artificial intelligence, focusing on projects that enhance Badger architecture. While new grants are currently unavailable, speculative applications are welcomed. The program encourages collaboration and aims to push forward key milestones in AI development. Suggested research topics include multi-agent learning, cultural evolution, and lifelong learning. Successful applicants will receive funding for projects lasting between 12 to 24 months, and GoodAI will hold a non-exclusive license to all research outputs.Overview
NOTE: Please note that we are currently not providing new grants. However, you can send speculative applications. GoodAI was founded in 2014 with a $10M personal investment from Marek Rosa. Our long-term goal is to build general artificial intelligence that will automate cognitive processes in science, technology, business, and other fields. We conduct our own research, advocate fundamental AI research at the EU governmental level, and forge a community of like-minded groups through the GoodAI Grants program. GoodAI has a history of awarding grants to research projects that advance the field of artificial intelligence. Through our grants program, we have shared our vision for a roadmap towards general AI and invited researchers worldwide to collaborate on achieving key milestones. Suggested topics The grant money is being awarded to researchers or research groups for work that can build on and improve Badger architecture. Below you can find a list of suggested topics. However, money may also be awarded for “wild card” submissions that don’t fit within these topics. The project proposals have to demonstrate that they will contribute to pushing forward the ideas related to Badger architecture.
