A matching grant program created to celebrate and support the charitable efforts of the LaGrange and Shipshewana Ministerial Associations.

Geographic Scope: LaGrange County, Indiana

Shipshewana Ministerial Association

Funding Focus Areas:

Emergency housing support for residents without shelter

Assistance for adults whose lives have been disrupted through:

- Change in employment
- Need to find new living situation
- Recovery after imprisonment or addiction

Shipshewana Ministerial Association:

Emergency financial support to families facing immediate crisis

Community food and clothing assistance (Big Give program in November)

How It Works:

Local donors contribute to the Community Foundation's Good Samaritan Fund

LCCF matches gifts dollar-for-dollar

Maximum match: $2,000 per association

Example: If donors give $2,500 to an association, LCCF matches $2,000 for total of $4,500

Key Information:

Historically offered through April 30 of matching year

Program celebrates local ministerial association charitable work

Both associations serve critical community needs
