The Goldsmith Family Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of Baltimore area youth by providing enriched educational and cultural opportunities.
Funding Priorities
The Goldsmith Family Foundation is committed to supporting students in the Baltimore City Public School System. We do so by funding innovative and effective programming within individual schools and by offering public school students access, through their schools, to the cultural and scientific institutions of Baltimore.
Grant proposals are considered for the following:
* Curriculum enhancement
* Teacher and principal training programs
* Cultural institutions providing programming for Baltimore City students
* Tutoring and mentoring programs
* After-school programs
* Summer learning opportunities

* To be considered for funding, an organization must meet several requirements:
* Applicants must submit evidence of tax exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
* Applicants may not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, physical handicap, or sex.
* Applicants are expected to demonstrate adequate administrative capacity and financial stability and to describe evaluation criteria and methods in their requests.
* Grants to an organization are made only once in a calendar year.
* The Foundation makes a limited number of grants for programs in Israel, and for special projects in other areas.
