GMFF Community Grants

The Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation grants program funds a variety of community needs that are supported by non-profit organizations working in the Greater Menomonee Falls Area.

Eligibility Requirements

Grant Seekers must:

• Be a qualified tax-exempt organization as defined by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization OR have a fiscal sponsor/agent qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization
• Provide services in the greater Menomonee Falls area
• Not be an organization that redistributes the grant to other organizations

What the Foundation Funds

• Various community needs identified by the Board of Directors
• Organizations may apply for specific project funding

• The Foundation's Board of Directors reviews grant requests and makes funding decisions
• Awards are made in response to identified community needs
• The Foundation adheres to The National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations
• The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization

Application Materials Required

1. Complete Grant Application Form - Download from website
2. Copy of IRS determination letter - Proof of 501(c)(3) status (NOTE: Applicants without 501(c)(3) status may work through another qualified 501(c)(3) organization that is willing to serve as a Fiscal Sponsor/Agent)
3. Copy of last fiscal year financial statement - Audit, Form 990, or equivalent
4. Copy of current agency budget - Including amount organization has in reserves

Submission Instructions

• Deadline: Applications and all supporting documents must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 1
• Submission Method: Email all documents to info@fallsfoundation.org
• Applications are not complete or reviewed until ALL required documents are received
