GMF: Mequon/Hiram Schmitt Fund Grant

The GMF: Mequon/Hiram Schmitt Fund Grant, established by the city of Mequon in 1984, supports educational and human service programs benefiting Mequon residents. Background
The Mequon/Hiram Schmitt Fund was established at the Foundation in 1984 by the city of Mequon, with assets which had been bequeathed to the city by the late Hiram Schmitt, a long-time resident of the community.
An advisory board, composed of Mequon area residents, reviews and makes grant recommendations. The Foundation’s Board gives final approval on all grants.
