Overview: GLOW is a collaborative, multi-year initiative focused on improving the quality of life for all residents by meeting the needs of the most vulnerable residents who live along the historically disinvested Greenmount Avenue corridor.

Geographic Scope

Serves the following Central Baltimore neighborhoods:
• Barclay
• East Baltimore Midway
• Greenmount West
• Harwood

Primary Goals of GLOW

1. Improve Community Health
- Ensure every resident has access to primary, preventative, and behavioral healthcare

2. Youth Development
- Ensure every young person has access to high-quality out-of-school-time opportunities
- Opportunities to enrich them personally, academically, or economically

3. Food Security and Nutrition
- Ensure every resident has access to nutritious food
- Eliminate food insecurity for all families living in Central Baltimore

GLOW Action Fund

The GLOW Action Fund provides support for:
• Pilot programs
• Collaborations to achieve the three primary goals of GLOW
• Intended to elevate the work of neighborhood providers who want to expand their work to improve public health
