Purpose: Support literacy and education projects globally by building schools and libraries, supporting awareness campaigns, and enabling employee volunteerism in local communities

Strategy: Partner with area organizations and Franchisees embedded in grassroots programming and existing funding efforts to magnify impact

Latin America & the Caribbean

Brazil - Movimento Arrendondar Partnership

• Model: Customer round-up program at point of sale
• Impact: Collected funds support 15 social organizations focused on education
• 2023 Results: $181,000+ raised
• Focus: Provide better future to thousands of Brazilians

Jamaica - National Scholarship Programme

• Funding: Franchisee-supported scholarship expansion
• Coverage: Supports students transitioning from primary to secondary and secondary to university
• Award Details: Covers schooling costs, books, and supplies
• Selection: Based on need, athletic ability, or academic excellence
• Eligibility: Open to students outside BK community and to employees

Europe & the Middle East

Spain - Red Cross & Replanta Pachamama

• Partnership: RBI Iberia with Red Cross and Replanta Pachamama
• Project: Build awareness and safeguard biodiversity of five Spanish forests
• 2023 Impact: 500+ trees planted; absorbs 800kg of CO2 gas annually
• Additional: Opportunities for ongoing environmental work

United Kingdom - UK Youth Partnership

• Partner: UK Youth, leading charity serving young people
• Network: 8,000 youth organizations and national partners
• Services Supported: Safe spaces, mental health support, employability training
