Global Health Scholarships
Funder: Pathways to Children Foundation in partnership with University of Minnesota Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility (CGHSR)
Geographic Scope: University of Minnesota graduate students
Focus Areas: Global health education, removal of financial barriers for student participation in international education programs
Purpose: To support U of M graduate student participation in CGHSR's global health education programs abroad, including embedded courses in Mysore, India and Quito, Ecuador.
Eligibility:
What is Funded:
- India: Global Health, Globalization, and Leadership (3-week course in December/January during winter break, December 27 - MLK Jr. Day)
- Ecuador: Social, Environmental, and Cultural Determinants of Health (2-week course in late May)
Additional Support: Pathways to Children also funds increased monitoring and evaluation for education programs to ensure student safety, satisfaction, and success while traveling abroad.

- Ecuador program: globalhealthcenter.umn.edu/ecuador
2. Submit an application to CGHSR (specific application materials not detailed on Pathways to Children website)
3. Receive acceptance to the program
4. Scholarship consideration is part of program acceptance for eligible U of M graduate students
Note: All participants must first submit an application and be accepted to participate in a CGHSR education program before scholarship funds are awarded.
