Giving in Action Grants - Community Action Grant

The Giving in Action Grants - Community Action Grant by the Moline Regional Community Foundation offers funding between $5,000 and $24,999 for nonprofit organizations in various sectors, including arts, education, and health. Open to all charitable nonprofits in designated counties, this grant encourages innovative community projects. Note that organizations primarily funded through tax support are ineligible. NOTE: The Board of Moline Regional Community Foundation approved transitioning to one annual grant cycle. All charitable nonprofits, regardless of the timing of historic grant awards, are eligible to apply. Please note the two grant options available. Applicants must select one of the two grants for funding accordingly.
As a responsive grant organization, Moline Regional Community Foundation awards grants for capital and program funding to nonprofit, charitable organizations in the areas of Arts & Culture, Community & Economic Development, Education, Environmental & Conservation, and Health & Human Services.
The Foundation's service region includes the following counties:

• Scott County (IA), Henderson, Henry, McDonough, Mercer, and Rock Island Counties (IL).
• Funding
• Requests of $5,000-$24,999 for program or capital expenses.

Eligibility

Grants are made to non-profit agencies.
Nonprofits that serve the service area but are located outside are welcome to apply.
The Foundation's service region includes the following counties:

• Scott County (IA), Henderson, Henry, McDonough, Mercer, and Rock Island Counties (IL).

Ineligibility

Organizations and institutions funded primarily through tax support do not qualify.
