Overview: Give Pikes Peak exists to inspire community philanthropy in fun, fresh, and innovative ways, and support the local nonprofit community. The Give! Campaign is a community-wide giving initiative that connects nonprofits with local donors.

    Geographic Scope

  • Service Area: El Paso and Teller Counties, Colorado

    Eligibility Requirements

    Organizations must meet ALL of the following requirements:
  • Tax Status: 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing with the state OR under an eligible fiscal sponsor
  • Geographic: Serves El Paso or Teller Counties
  • Policy: Maintains a nondiscriminatory policy comparable to Give! campaign policy
  • Operational History: Organization has been operational for more than 12 months

    Award Guarantee

  • Minimum Award: Every participating nonprofit is guaranteed to raise at least $1,500. Give Pikes Peak provides a grant to any organization that falls short of this amount during the campaign.

    Participation Fees

  • First-Year Participants: $850
  • Returning Participants: $1,250

These fees cover essential costs including accounting, website development, marketing, and staffing.

    Review Process

  • Applications are reviewed by a community committee
  • Committee evaluates organizations based on: mission, impact, governance, and readiness to participate
  • Organizations selected for the campaign will be notified of the committee's decision by the end of May
  • Space in the campaign is limited; selection is not guaranteed
