Purpose: Award one scholarship annually to a Girl Scout who achieves the Gold Award from the Southeast Florida service unit.

Background: Gina Rose Montalto was a victim of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018. Gina was a proud member of the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida since kindergarten and earned the Girl Scout Silver Award. This scholarship honors her memory, spirit of giving, and passion for Girl Scouting.
