Mission: Established to honor two-time Pulitzer Prize Finalist and Getty Images photojournalist Chris Hondros, the Fund endeavors to bring shared human experiences into the public eye that might otherwise go unreported by supporting photojournalists and emerging photographers.

Award Criteria

Recipients are selected based on:
• Exceptional photographic ability coupled with a spirited commitment to the craft of photojournalism
• Unyielding commitment to photojournalism and telling news stories of our time
• Exceptional photographic work and tireless drive to tell a story
• Compassion and rigor employed in approaching compelling and complex news stories
