Summary
The Geochemistry Group Student Travel Bursary supports postgraduate researchers at UK institutions to attend geochemistry meetings, either domestically or internationally. This initiative fosters connections among geochemists and provides funding for students presenting their research through oral or poster presentations. Preference is given to self-funded students and those who are members of the Geological or Mineralogical Societies. The bursary encourages young geochemists to engage with the wider community and share their findings at prominent events.Overview
The Geochemistry Group promotes geochemistry as a discipline and aims to improve the links between the many areas of application and research that are currently active. The Group encourages and organises meetings, workshops, courses and seminars. We are particularly active in our support of young geochemists and offer a number of funding opportunities for Early Career Researchers alongside our annual Research in Progress Meeting (GGRiP). The Geochemistry Group offers bursaries to postgraduate researchers registered at UK universities or research institutions to aid travel to a geochemistry meeting either in the UK or internationally. In previous years, students have received bursaries to support travel to conferences such as EGU and Goldschmidt, as well as a number of smaller meetings.Eligibility
