Overview
Grant to support purchase of disaster preparedness equipment for domestic violence programs. Funds support prevention, preparedness, and response to needs of survivors impacted by disasters. Eligible applicants are domestic violence shelter agencies currently funded through the Office of Criminal Justice Programs. Annual budgets should not exceed $100,000. Personnel costs and travel are not allowable. Examples of eligible equipment: emergency preparedness kits, solar panels, generators, water purification systems, water storage tanks, storm shutters, emergency communications systems.
