Funded Partner Grants Program

North Texas Area United Way (NTAUW) invites local nonprofits to apply annually for funding through the RFP (Request for Proposal) grant application process.

Geographic Scope: NTAUW service area (Wichita Falls and surrounding North Texas region)

Focus Areas: Organizations providing services in:

• Health
• Education
• Financial security

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
• Must be located within NTAUW service area
• Must provide proof of 501(c)(3) status with application
• Incomplete applications will be returned unread
• Late applications will not be accepted

Timeline:

• Application opens each fall
• Grant funding decisions typically made by beginning of new year
• Funding starts in April
• Promoted through social media and NTAUW website

Grant Requirements & Expectations:

• Funded partners must follow guidelines and requirements outlined in grant agreement
• Partner agencies must provide regular progress reports on goals outlined in grant application
• Grant funds must be used effectively and responsibly

Application Process

Key Steps:

1. Monitor NTAUW website and social media for fall opening announcement
2. Complete full RFP grant application (incomplete applications will be returned unread)
3. Attach proof of 501(c)(3) eligibility status
4. Submit before deadline (late applications will not be accepted)
5. Applications reviewed by committees of community members and NTAUW board members
6. Organizations notified of decisions by beginning of new year
