Fred Colby Hobson Scholarship Fund Grant

The Fred Colby Hobson Scholarship Fund, established in 1994, aims to provide financial assistance to graduating seniors from Forbush High School, Starmount High School, and Yadkin Early College in Yadkin County, NC. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Winston-Salem Foundation, which has supported over 573 local students with $1.67 million in scholarships this year. The fund reflects a commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for all eligible students in the community.

We hold more than 160 scholarship funds that supported 582 students from Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin Counties with $1.7 million this school year.
