Frank W. & Carl S. Adams Memorial Fund The Frank W. and Carl S. Adams Memorial Fund was established in 1925 to support and promote quality educational, human services and health care programming for underserved populations. Annual gifts are also awarded to the Harvard University Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for student scholarships. Applicants may apply for either program or general operating support. Grant requests for general operating support from organizations with annual budgets of $5 million or less are encouraged. For larger organizations, general operating support will be considered. Grant awards will generally be for a period of one year, but multi-year requests are permitted.
