Eligibility:

  • Live in the Haughville area, OR

  • Attend a high school that serves the Haughville area, OR

  • Have used services at the Christamore House

  • High school students seeking higher education
  • Requirements:

  • Frances Carter Coburn Scholars must volunteer each summer at the Christamore House Summer Camp and Christmas at Christamore
  • History: Since 1981, the scholarship has benefited over 1,000 recipients and awarded nearly $2 million

    Funding Source: Funding is raised through the annual Book & Author Benefit

    Additional Award: Each year, the Guild awards the Marge Kroeger Award to a Senior Scholar who has demonstrated exceptional volunteerism at the Christamore House throughout their tenure as a scholar
