FORUM Credit Union Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the communities we serve by enhancing youth educational opportunities. Educator grants and collegiate scholarships available to FORUM members embody the Credit Union’s cooperative spirit and improve the communities we serve through increased educational opportunities and experiences. Educator Grants The Foundation designates $30,000 annually in educator grants ($3,000 maximum grant per educator). Grants may be used for any direct classroom expenses, including, but not limited to, supplies needed to fund a project for the classroom, basic supplies the classroom may be lacking, supplemental items to enhance classroom learning or an experience to enhance classroom learning.Eligibility

Teachers or administrators in K–12 accredited schools in the counties of Marion, Hamilton, Johnson, Boone, Hendricks and Hancock.If an applicant is a FORUM member, their account must be in good standing. If an applicant is not a current member, they should never have caused a loss to FORUM in the past.Applicants need to provide a signed consent form from their school principal for the requested project.Be a U.S. citizen.Disbursement of GrantsTeacher grants will be made payable directly to the school where they are employed.When applying for the grant, teachers agree to provide progress reports on the initiative being implemented. If a teacher does not submit a progress report and it is determined that the initiative was not implemented, the school will be responsible for returning the awarded grant.The funds may be used for any direct classroom expense, including, but not limited to supplies needed to fund a project for the classroom, basic supplies the classroom may be lacking, supplemental items to enhance classroom learning, or an experience to enhance classroom learning. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.Ineligibility
