Forensic Interview Training Scholarship

Funder: Minnesota Children's Alliance

Overview: Scholarship program to increase access to trauma-informed forensic interview training for Minnesota professionals who interview children reporting abuse.

Eligibility:

Minnesota professionals only

Members of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)

Eligible professions include:

- Child welfare workers
- Law enforcement
- Prosecutors
- Medical providers
- CAC forensic interviewers
- Advocates

Funding Categories:

Basic Forensic Interview Training: Up to $1,000

Advanced or Expanded Forensic Interview Training: Up to $500

Specialized, Advanced Topic Training: Up to $150

Approved Training Protocols: Must be nationally approved forensic interview protocol vetted by the National Children's Alliance (NCA) and aligned with best practices and trauma-informed approaches
