The Foundation's Grant program operates through its Sports Industry Partnership program and was established in 1996 to assist communities and host organizations in attracting sports events to the state of Florida. The Foundation's Board of Directors awards grants on a quarterly basis.

Application Process
1. Locate an Approved Industry Partner in your desired event location through the Foundation's directory
2. Contact the Industry Partner directly - they will submit the application on your event's behalf
3. Provide required documentation to your Industry Partner:
- Grant Application (new application format available)
- Proof of Insurance
4. Submit application through the Industry Partner to FSF
5. Post-Event Reporting - Required after event completion
