Overview: The Florence B. Wager Awards honor individuals and organizations whose contributions have had a lasting impact on parks, trails, and recreation in Clark County. Named after passionate community advocate Florence "Flossie" Wager, these awards celebrate those who exemplify her spirit of leadership, service, and commitment to enhancing public spaces for all.

  • The Leading Eagle – Recognizing a visionary leader whose initiatives have significantly shaped the future of parks, trails, and recreational programs.
  • The V-Formation Flyer – Celebrating dedicated volunteers who go above and beyond to enhance the community's outdoor spaces.
  • The Tributary – Honoring parks and recreation staff who demonstrate outstanding commitment and enthusiasm in their roles.
  • The J. Scott Campbell – Acknowledging businesses or organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership in supporting parks, trails, and recreational programs.

Eligibility: Open to volunteers, parks/recreation professionals, visionary leaders, and corporate/organizational partners within Clark County.
