Fletcher-Callegari Scholarship

Overview: The Fletcher-Callegari Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors as they pursue post-secondary academic goals. The scholarship was created in memory of Keith Fletcher (1955-2019) and in honor of the relationship between Big Brother Keith Fletcher and Little Brother Chris Callegari.

Geographic Scope: All BBBS Lone Star service areas (Greater Houston, Greater Dallas, Greater Tarrant, West Central Texas)

Award Details:

Amount: Up to $80,000 total

Payable: Over four years or until completion of undergraduate degree, whichever comes first

Availability: One award

Eligibility:

BBBS Lone Star Littles/Mentees

Graduating high school senior

GPA of 2.8 or higher

Background: Keith Fletcher was a Houston attorney and the only one of his siblings to attend college. He was mentored and supported by a local businessman who awarded him a scholarship. Keith became a dedicated mentor and believed strongly in the power of mentorship. This scholarship continues his legacy of investing in others and providing mentoring relationships during college years.
