Overview

First Tee College Scholarship Program

Overview: A need and merit-based scholarship program designed to provide financial support, life skill development, and mentorship to First Tee alumni throughout their college careers.

Eligibility:

  • Graduating high school seniors planning to attend college the following year

  • Active members of First Tee chapters

  • Selection based on: financial need, academic performance, chapter involvement, volunteerism, and other criteria
  • Program Features:

  • Scholarships up to $5,000 per year, renewable for up to four years of college

  • Professional development workshops

  • Access to internships and full-time employment placement post-graduation

  • Dedicated adult mentor pairing for all four years of college

  • Annual Scholars Recap Winter Workshop (held during MLK Jr. Day weekend in Dallas, Texas) for professional and personal development

  • Pre-College Retreat in Jacksonville, Florida (late July) for incoming scholars to prepare for freshman year
  • Focus Areas:

  • Building strength of character

  • Life skills development

  • Professional readiness

  • Emotional intelligence and self-care

  • Networking and mentorship
  • Geographic Scope: National - serves First Tee scholars from chapters across the United States

    Application Process

    Eligibility Requirements:
