First Horizon Foundation Grant (Louisiana)

The First Horizon Foundation Grant aims to enhance communities in Louisiana through targeted contributions in arts, education, environment, financial literacy, and health. The foundation focuses on improving community well-being, investing in future leaders, and promoting sustainability. Eligible organizations include those in Acadiana, Baton Rouge, Monroe, New Orleans, Lake Charles, and Shreveport. However, funding is not provided for individuals, political organizations, or charities redistributing funds, ensuring support is directed where it can lead to meaningful community impact.

Eligibility

In Louisiana, our Louisiana First Horizon Foundation provides grants to eligible organizations in the following areas:Acadiana, Baton Rouge, Monroe, New Orleans, Lake Charles and Shreveport.

Ineligibility

Foundation grants are not provided to or for:IndividualsTrips and ToursSolely religious, social or fraternal organizationsCharities that redistribute funds to other charitable organizations, except in the case of recognized united fund-type organizationsK-12 schoolsPolitical organizations or those having the primary purpose of influencing legislation or promoting a particular ideological point of viewOperating budget deficits
