Mission Alignment: FIFEC offers a limited number of grant scholarships each year to support law enforcement professionals actively engaged in detecting and deterring insurance fraud. These grants align with FIFEC's mission to deliver high-quality education, development, and connections at the lowest possible cost to law enforcement, fire investigators, government investigators, and prosecutors.

What Grants Cover

• Conference tuition
• Lodging
• Banquet registration
• All at no cost to the recipient or their agency

Eligibility

• Law enforcement professionals
• Fire investigators
• Government investigators
• Prosecutors
• Must be actively engaged in detecting and deterring insurance fraud
• Priority consideration is given to applicants who are presenting or speaking at the conference

Grant Recipient Responsibilities

Grant recipients are required to:

Register for and attend a minimum of four training sessions

Assist with conference operations by proctoring one assigned session (with possibility of proctoring up to four sessions)

Proctoring duties may include:

- Attendee check-in at assigned session
- Reading announcements
- Monitoring attendance
- Assisting speakers with time cues
- Supporting access control at conference events
