FIFEC Grant Scholarship

Funder: Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (FIFEC)

Mission Alignment: FIFEC offers a limited number of grant scholarships each year to support law enforcement professionals actively engaged in detecting and deterring insurance fraud. These grants align with FIFEC's mission to deliver high-quality education, development, and connections at the lowest possible cost to law enforcement, fire investigators, government investigators, and prosecutors.

  • Must be actively engaged in detecting and deterring insurance fraud
  • Priority consideration is given to applicants who are presenting or speaking at the conference

Grant Recipient Responsibilities

Grant recipients are required to:

  • Register for and attend a minimum of four training sessions

  • Assist with conference operations by proctoring one assigned session (with possibility of proctoring up to four sessions)

  • Proctoring duties may include:

  • - Attendee check-in at assigned session
    - Reading announcements
    - Monitoring attendance
    - Assisting speakers with time cues
    - Supporting access control at conference events

    4. Agreement: By accepting the terms of this FIFEC Grant/Scholarship, you agree to forever hold harmless and fully indemnify FIFEC from any and all liability whatsoever while attending and/or participating in the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee conference and activities
