Purpose: Support residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their resources.

• Confidentiality: Requests for financial assistance with monthly fees are held in strict confidence; no other residents are aware of who received support
• Funding Source: Initial endowment of $250,000 from the Episcopal Diocese in 1984
• Structure: Operates as an endowed fund with principal retained and invested; earnings are used to provide assistance
• Application Process: Residents contact Collington's Chief Executive Officer or Chief Financial Officer to determine level of need
• Decision-Making: Determinations made by Foundation's Financial Assistance Committee, composed of non-residents
