Overview

Since 1991, the Four Corners Geological Society and later its Foundation have given financial aid to master’s degree candidates working on geologic theses in the states of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona. In order to be considered, a thesis must contribute to regional geologic knowledge in at least one of these states and be acceptable to the selection committee. Thesis disciplines may include (but are not limited to) general geology, geophysics, environmental geology, and hydrology.
