FAST Postdoctoral Fellowship

Fellowships provide the necessary resources to support and encourage the development of young scientists who benefit from the mentorship of prominent researchers.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must hold a postdoctoral fellowship position at an institution/university at the time of award submission
• Must maintain postdoctoral fellowship position throughout the proposed awarded period

Award Structure: Up to two years of funding

Funding Amount:

• Up to $50,000 per year
• Covers salary, fringe benefits, and consumable costs
• Total: up to $100,000 for two-year award

Geographic Scope: International

Focus Areas:

• Development of young scientists in Angelman syndrome research
• Mentorship by prominent researchers
• Building representation in departments around the world currently lacking AS research representation

Career Development: The hope is that fellows will later assume professorial roles in departments around the world, which currently have no representation in Angelman syndrome research, further advancing FAST's mission.

Application Process: Rolling basis - there is no deadline. All grant applications are considered on a rolling basis.
