Overview

New Investigator Award

Overview: Awards granted to promising new scientists looking to start a significant research program focusing on translational research in Angelman Syndrome. In an effort to attract excellent young researchers to join the field of AS.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be within their first five years of an academic position at an institution/university

  • Focus must be on translational research
  • Award Structure: One- or two-year grants, made in one-year allocations

    Funding Amount: Maximum recommended funding of $150,000 per year. For larger budget requests, email science@cureangelman.org for justification.

    Geographic Scope: International

    Application Process: Rolling basis - there is no deadline. All grant applications are considered on a rolling basis.
