Overview

The Fanwood Community Foundation (FCF) owes its inception to four individuals committed to giving back to the community where they lived and raised their children. Bob and Carol Kraus, Fred Chemidlin, and Ted Frankenbach had the idea to form this Foundation funded largely by their donations to better the Fanwood community that means so much to them. We strive to continue the vision they had for the Foundation and the mission to meet the needs of the Fanwood community. The Fanwood Community Foundation mission is to fulfill the charitable goals of our donors while supporting the current and future needs of our community. FCF has been supporting our community through donations from local donors - individuals, families, and businesses. The Foundation uses a portion of the income from the invested donations to provide grants and support to the local community. The FCF is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Since its founding in 1998, FCF has granted more than $30,000 to a variety of different non-profit organizations in our community.
