Funder: Anaconda Community Foundation (MT, US)

Geographic Scope: Anaconda/Deer Lodge County, Montana

Overview: The Anaconda Community Foundation awards grants to support projects that strengthen the Anaconda community. Since 2007, ACF has awarded over $390,000 to local nonprofits.

Eligibility

• Applicant Type: Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations as defined under Section 501(c)(3), public agencies, or units of government
• Geographic Requirement: Must operate within Anaconda/Deer Lodge County

Funding Priorities

• Projects that benefit the broadest segment of the community
• Projects addressing critical community needs
• Support for ongoing operating expenses
• Matching grants for endowment purposes

Award Amounts

• Typical range: $250 to $1,500

Ineligible Requests

ACF does not fund:
• Grants to individuals
• Testimonial dinners
• Political organizations or purposes
• Religious organizations
• Discriminatory requests
• Projects presenting an unacceptable conflict of interest to the community

Application Requirements

• Grant recipients must present their funded activities at a scheduled ACF Board Meeting
• Recipients must acknowledge ACF support in all press and social media releases related to the funded project
• All applications evaluated by ACF Awards Committee and require ACF Board approval
