Eligibility:

  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) working in KHCA/KCAL member facilities

  • Minimum 6 months of CNA experience required

  • Planning to continue career in long-term care profession

  • Interested in enrolling in a KDADS-approved CMA (Certified Medication Aide) course in Kansas
  • Restrictions:

  • Only one scholarship per facility may be awarded per year
  • Focus Areas:

  • Professional advancement from CNA to CMA

    FACE of Kansas is a non-profit organization established in 2006 dedicated to improving long-term care homes in Kansas through professional opportunities and education. The organization seeks to improve quality of care and services, and quality of life for elderly and disabled Americans through member education and professional development.
