Geographic Scope: United States and Canada

Eligibility:

• Grants available to organizations exempt as 501(c)(3) charities
• Organizations exempt through a government agency
• Must conform to IRS requirements
• Note: Outside organizations must contact a local Aerie chapter; grant requests submitted directly to the Grand Aerie will be returned
• Aeries/Auxiliaries must log in to Members-Only section for submission

Funding Purposes:

• Research
• Educational materials
• Equipment
• Supplies

Minimum Award: $100.00

What They Do NOT Fund:

• Administrative expenses
• Financial assistance
• Continuing education of professionals

Background: Grants are paid directly to recipients for purposes stated in F.O.E. charity by-laws. The Fraternal Order of Eagles raises approximately $10 million annually, with 100% going directly to individuals and communities in need.

Application Process

For Outside Organizations (501(c)(3) charities and government-exempt organizations):

1. Contact a local Aerie chapter with your grant request
2. Do NOT submit directly to the Grand Aerie (requests will be returned)
3. Provide information about:
   • Your organization's 501(c)(3) status or government exemption
   • Intended use of funds (research, educational materials, equipment, or supplies)
   • Minimum request amount of $100.00

For Aeries/Auxiliaries:

1. Log in to the Members-Only section on foe.com
2. Follow grant submission instructions provided in that portal

Required Materials:

• Documentation of 501(c)(3) status or government agency exemption
• Details on how funds will be used (must align with approved purposes)
• Compliance with IRS requirements
