Exposure x CSEF College Scholarship

Funder: Exposure Skate in partnership with The College Skateboarding Education Foundation (CSEF)

Purpose: To empower female-identifying and non-binary skateboarders with the opportunity for higher education by providing annual scholarships to offset tuition costs.

Award Details

• Amount: $5,000 per scholarship
• Number of Awards: Two (2) scholarships awarded annually (based on inaugural 2021 year)
• Award Use: Tuition costs for higher education

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a skateboarder
• Must identify as female or non-binary
• Must contribute to your community
• Must be college-bound or pursuing higher education
• Must complete the CSEF Scholarship Application
• Must check boxes at end of application stating:
  • You identify as female or non-binary
  • You are interested in the Exposure Scholarship

Selection Criteria

Applications are reviewed with consideration toward:

• Financial need
• Academic scholarship
• Community contribution and involvement
• Quality and thoughtfulness of written responses
• Alignment with Exposure's mission

Application Process

1. Complete the CSEF 2021 Scholarship Application (or most recent year's application)
   • Application available through CSEF website
   • Access from Exposure Skate scholarship page
2. Required Steps in Application:
   • Complete all sections to the best of your ability
   • Write thoughtful, well-written responses (these increase chances of receiving scholarship)
   • Check the boxes at the end of the application stating:
   • You identify as female or non-binary
   • You are interested in the Exposure Scholarship
3. Submission:
   • Submit through CSEF application portal

• Must explicitly indicate interest in Exposure Scholarship and gender identity via checkboxes
