Exhibit Proposal Opportunity

Geographic Scope: Homer, Alaska (Kachemak Bay region)

Overview:
On an annual basis, the Pratt Museum reviews exhibition proposals for the following calendar year. The museum welcomes proposals for solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, multimedia art installations, and scientific, historical, or interdisciplinary projects.

Focus Areas:

• Culture, science, and/or art of the Kachemak Bay region
• Explorations of place and human experience
• Projects aligned with the Museum's mission and values

Eligibility:
Proposals should fit within the Museum's mission and values and explore themes relevant to Kachemak Bay and its place in the world.

Exhibition Spaces Available:

• Special Exhibits Gallery: 950+ sq ft with 14' ceilings and mezzanine (955-1170 sq ft total)
• Forest Trail: Numerous sites for outdoor installations and programs

Note: The 2025 exhibit calendar has been set. Proposals may be submitted at any time for future consideration.

How to Apply

1. Review Guidelines: Consult the Exhibit Proposal Guidelines and explore Museum Floorplans to understand available exhibition spaces
2. Complete the Form: Fill out the Exhibit Proposal Form with your proposal details
3. Submit: Email the completed form to collections@prattmuseum.org
4. Optional Discussion: For proposals that may fit outside conventional parameters, contact the Curator of Collections & Exhibitions to discuss your idea before formal submission

• Proposal must articulate alignment with Museum's mission and values
• Consideration of which exhibition space would be appropriate

Timing: Submissions are accepted year-round for future calendar consideration.
