Excellence in Mission Award

Overview: Recognition award given to parishes or organizations in the Episcopal Church in Idaho who exemplify through their mission and ministry the call to be the hands and heart of Jesus in the world.

Award Details:

  • Award Amount: $500 towards mission or ministry

  • Frequency: Presented at least 2 times per year

  • Presentation: Award presented at the parish or at an appropriate location

    • Eligibility Criteria:
    Recipients must:

  • Participate in an impactful project that supports the mission and ministries of the Episcopal Church in Idaho

  • Demonstrate a positive impact on the parish and/or community

  • Have a project, mission, or ministry that demonstrates a creative or innovative impact within their parish and community

    • Selection Process:

  • The Recognition Committee collaborates with the Grants Committee and others in the selection process

  • The Recognition Committee selects recipients and makes recommendation to the Board of Directors for approval

    • Geographic Scope: Idaho only
