This initiative promotes collaboration and growth within the community.Overview
Our Mission Our Mission is to serve the businesses of Southeastern Kentucky through our commitment to networking, advocacy, education, and collaboration as we partner together to enhance the business climate in our region. Our Vision Our vision is for a region that ignores county lines in the name of economic growth and improving the quality of life for our citizens. Excellence in Education Grants The Excellence in Education Grant Program began in 2008 to enhance educational opportunities for the students of the Chamber’s eight-county region. Since that time, the Chamber has provided more than $80,000 in funding to area schools through the Excellence in Education Grant Program. Funding Priorities The Excellence in Education Grant Program provides funding assistance to supplement areas within the school systems where there are insufficient funds to meet student needs and where the purpose enlightens students academically, e.g. additional equipment for science, art, music, and drama departments.Eligibility
