Overview: Spotlights young Farm Bureau members who are actively engaged in their community and effectively advocate for agriculture.

Geographic Scope: South Carolina

Eligibility:

Young Farmers and Ranchers between ages 18-35

Do NOT derive majority of income from owned production agriculture operation

Actively contribute to agriculture and demonstrate leadership through involvement in Farm Bureau and agricultural community

What They Evaluate:

Understanding of agricultural issues

Leadership experiences and achievement

Ability to communicate the importance of agriculture

Awards:

Top 3 Finalists receive:

- $500 cash
- One-night stay at 2025 SCFB Annual Meeting in Myrtle Beach (December 5, 2025)
- One-night stay at 2026 SCFB YF&R Conference in Charleston (February 7, 2026)

• Grand Prize Winner receives:
- Up to $8,000 toward purchase of new 4x4 UTV - Opportunity to attend 2026 AFBF YF&R Leadership Conference in Portland, Oregon (March 13-15, 2026) - One-night stay at SCFB Annual Meeting in Myrtle Beach (December 4, 2026) to be highlighted as 2026 winner - Required opportunity to compete at 2027 American Farm Bureau Annual Convention in Charlotte, NC (January 8-12, 2027)
